What would be a good intake manifold for my 67 Riv to give it a little extra oomph? I was looking at that TA Single Plane 1, but it said that 67-72 Rivs have hood clearance issues. Any other suggestions? thanks.

What else are you doing to the engine?

Head work- three angle job, bigger guide valves
    TA 288-98H (i think) cam
    Set of competition headers
    Small clean-up bore (.040)

The Edelbrock is a decent step up, but your combo (especially with the switch-pitch trans) would really love the TA SP1. I'd see if some other Riv owners step in to say what they're doing...with a drop base air cleaner you might be able to swing it; just need to see what others have done.

I've heard less-than-positive things about the Poston S-divider and the Offenhauser single plane, so you might want to do more reading before choosing one of those.

Yeah, I was wondering if any other Riv's have the SP1 and how they got them to fit.
