what's a good gear for out the hole with 2553520 20 wheels

  1. please gear techs help me what is a good gear for out the hole on my 350eng and 350 turbo and 20 inch wheels

    3.42-3.55 are good all around gears for acceleration and highway use. The overall tire size is what affects gearing. The Rim size has nothing to do with it. A 20" rim will use tires with shorter sidewalls. The shorter sidewalls will give better handling but a harder ride. A 26-27" tire is the norm for our Buicks. So your 255/35-20 (27") or the 245/35-20 (26.75") will work just fine with the above gears.
