   I have the opportunity to get a 455 block
   It has WF on it by the head and 455 123861 at the back.
   What year and car is this from?
   Would this be a decent core to build?

   The engine decoder I have shows 1972 for the year. Single or dual exhaust 455.

   LARRY70GS a.k.a. "THE WIZARD" Staff Member

   1972 Standard 455 block was WF, WS was the Stage1, and WA was the Riviera GS. The blocks however, are all the same. Go for it.
