what would you pay for....

    Good question, I paid $1500 for my Cat and she was in pretty good shape. Got any pics of this Lesabre?

    only one small pick. the person wants 3000 for it. he said it is in pristine condition.

    I swear I saw that same photo on Pittsburghs Craigslist. Looks like a repaint and the bottom of that fender looks funny. I hope you'll check it first so you know what your getting.

    yea its been relisted a few times

    he even has it listed in the parts section of cragslist

    i paid 800 for mine, needed bodywork and frame work, everything else was in good condition..
    after framework i'm still under 1300 lol
    even when i take it to the highschool bodyshop i bet i'll still be under 1600

    yea i already have a 70 lesabre 4 door hardtop. i really love the styling of the 63. so are you guys saying this is not worth the money? and what looks funny about the bottom of the fender. thank you very much

    if it does have a nailhead would you say it's worth it? i wish i was closer to check it out as i live in nyc. im tryin to get there as soon as possible but things arent lookin that good.

    well got a reply and the engine is a 401 it was repainted in 1998 and im waiting for more pics.

    damn it does look like that a little. why can't i just find a 63 lesabre 4 door hardtop thats just pure awesomeness for 2500 or under :(

    what time do expect to be in the burgh, this guy is in north hills, so he's about 20 mins or so away from me

    im tryin to get there asap to see if it's worth it. if it is i will hopefully be able to pay him and pick it up at the end of the month. thanks for your help by the way.

    no problem, hety if it runs strong and exything is good it'd still be worth it...can always reshape and paint the bottom fender down the line.
    just check it out well and bring a magnet and a piece of cloth with you to check for putty

    damn magnet and a cloth you say? BRILLIANT i would have never thought of that for it would seem too simple to work. thats good advice.

    i still haven't got the chance and now im kinda stuck on a 64 electra 225 but i can't find one in the price range. there is a BEAUTIFUL one on ebay but he wants 6500. i'm a college student and if i had that kind of money i would be considered rich.
