    From George's website:
    1971-2
    Ratio----Open----Posi
    2.56---- LKB---- LTB
    2.73---- LLB---- LOB
    3.08---- LAB---- LSB
    3.42---- LHB---- LWB

I have a 3:08 posi which I hope to get in my car sometime next year.

Not in 71 72 BUT you can get them from newer cars with 8.5 like impalas and Trans ams from the mid seventies. I also have a good used set here 75.00 + shipping again. I can get you Brand new also but they are not too cheap. 199.00. Jim

A little tangent, were the GS455s 3.08 and 3.42 only, and the GS Stage1 only 3.42? That's what I sort of remember being true but am just interested to double check my memory.

Your talking strictly about the 71 car correct? In a GS the ratios were either 3.08 or 3.42. In a Skylark Custom the ratios were 2.56, 2.73 and 3.08. Of course there were CSO cars that have documentation of other ratios and non-positraction units as well in some cars.
