    SpinLark but seriously

Just took the car out of storage today, it feels good to bring it home and drive it again. anyways,
I recently just bought a clock for my 1972 Buick Skylark. I was wondering what bulb do you use for it? If anyone one has any installation tips I wouldnt mind reading them. Thanks.

The 71 service manual says bulb #1893. 72 should be the same. You should just be able to grab the socket and twist easily and it will come out. i think there are two. If there are two empty holes in the back then you do not have bulbs with it. Check your wiring harness. If the bulbs are not there you may have to buy an adapter from one of the wiring companies and splice it in if there is no connection. These bulbs wre hard wired where the other gauges bulbs had no wires because they were grounded at the gauge. Also if the connection for the clock is taped to your harness the bulb sockets should be taped to it. Get under the dash on your back with a flashlight and have some fun! Also if you have a service or assembly manual it show a good drawing of the back of the gauges. the clock/tach connections come out of the main harness right in line with the clock.
