I am trying to replace some burnt out gauge lights in my 72 riviera but I can't seem to figure out what to use to get the old bulbs out tried needle nose pliers and forceps but cant get enough grip on the smooth glass to pull them out.

aren't they just a standard push in T10 globe, twists out of the circuit board. I just replaced all mine in my 61 with LEDs

They come out from BEHIND the gauge panel, then pull the bulbs (globes) out of the holder. Twist the holder out from the circuit board then pull straight out from the holder, the bulb.

Thank you for the quick replies think i was not clear enough so ill add some pictures. The bulbs i'm trying to get out are the ones sunk way down in those "tubes" in the center and behind the lenses left and right. They are not t10 twist globs they just press straight in and out (Added picture of the bulb too). The issue i'm having is getting something down in there to grip onto the old bulbs to pull them out the smooth glass I just can't get a grip with needle nose pliers or forceps or anything else I can think of. Almost tempted to put a dab of superglue on a stick and try to pull them out that way lol.

They come out from behind. Take the cluster out

X2, those bulbs press into plastic sockets that twist off the back of the cluster. They are not meant to come out through the front.

Well got the bulbs out and replaced but turns out the originals were fine so thinking i probably need a new circuit board none of the lights one the right hand side of the gauge cluster seem to work

Don't guess, test! From the service manual, the cluster has a 12 wire plug going into it. Each side feeds one half of the cluster. The illumination is fed by one wire though. So break out your digital volt ohm meter or even a test light and figure out what your missing- power or ground. You might spend a bunch of money on a circuit board and still have the same problem
