That is absolutely, without a doubt, NOT!!! a 66 Chevelle. :Dou:

Chevelle taill lights wrap around the quarter a little, the rear wheel wells are different, and I'm pretty sure Chevelles have some switches and button above the speedo, up by the dash pad.

It's definately a 66 or 67 Skylark, and I'm leaning towards 67 because you can just barely see what looks more like a 67 grille.

I agree with Rick, it looks like a '67 from what you can see from the front. The serial number, 43617, is a definate giveaway.

I don't think so guys. If you look really close at the deck lid, and the front bumper in reference to the grille.......it looks like a 66' to me with a 67' grille/hood. The 67' deck lid has that little 4-5" lip that fold over into the rear panel that I can't see in the pix ???. The 66' has more of a flat/straight across deck like a chevelle. Looking at the pix of the fuel cell it looks straighter to me.

Also the 67' has the little point(?) on the hood where the 66' is straighter across. One thing I just thought of though, it could be a 67 with the right parts on the front with a 67' chevelle glass bumper. That would explain the difference in appearence between the hood grille(that match) and the bumper that seems shallow to me.

DEFINATELY 66/7 Buick though, the dash is a dead give away, lol.

    later.............................

*edit* - where are the back up lights in a 66' and 67' ?? Don't they circle the plates on a 66', and out in the bumper towards the bottom in a 67' ? I may have that backwards though :Do No:

The back up lights on a 67 are right above my exhaust tips on each side. You can just make them out in this pic.
