Those were quite common in the 70's and was supposed to increase your gas mileage. It was connected in the PCV line and leaned out the fuel mixture.In fact it leaned out the mixture so much the car could just barely run!I do remember them being called an "Economizer". They did not work and were taken off the market. Another one of those "miracle"gadgets that were of no good.

It a central vacuum system for your car. You plug in a hose and you can clean the inside of your car. The best part is there are no messy bags to deal with, your motor burns the debris.

Vacuum Bleed It is a vacuum bleed to lower vacuum. Used when gas octane was just one number, too low, and we got spark knock. Inserting this in the vacuum advance line lowered the vacuum and the advance lessening the spark knock. :Smarty:
