I have an opportunity to purchase a '70 GS 350 hdtp that's been sitting for quite a few years. Also possibly up for grabs is a '71 skylark conv. with a GS hood. The '70 has a rebuilt 350 that's never been fired. The '71 is in pieces. Not being familiar with the '70-'72's, what should I look for as far as pros and cons of the purchase(s). The idea of a clone project is bouncing around in my head. I know I'm probably being pretty vague, but any help would be appreciated, i.e. prices, if the GS has the right grille, and so forth.
