What should my spark plug gap be now and what is my compression ratio?

8ad-f85, sorry i posted under the wrong thread so deleted the posts in this thread ... i also have a low oil pressure thread...Thanks for your advice. Looks like I might be good on pump gas but will listen and look for sounds od detonation and let you guys know how I make out after I solve the oil pressure issue. Thanks again guys

 

Listening for sounds on detonation is kind of misleading...
By the time you can even barely hear it, it's at an amplitude of 10 on a 1-12 scale of severity.
The engine can tolerate a few seconds at a time, a few times.
Read the timing sticky, it's well written.
