I'm considering swapping my ac alternator bracket to a non ac version. How many parts are used in the non ac setup? Is it just the top arm, and then a bottom bracket holding the alternator?

    Thanks!

Kimson, it's the two brackets you mentioned. The bracket that bolts to the head has longer head bolts as the bracket is held down with the head bolts. Also, there is a support bracket that bolts to the bottom of the aluminum bracket to the motor mount for additional support.

So we're missing one bracket here, or would this work?

Those are a shouldered/flange type bolt- I would try for the OE bolts or be very careful about length as these are not through holes in the block-you don't want to bottomthe bolts or be too short and pull threads out-past threads have covered this. I'd also use the steel bracket to better support this alum mount-good luck
