what lifters do you recommend for my 300ci

Any brand out there that I should use or stay away from. Part numbers? It's a bit confusing...applications seem to contradict themselves from one brand to another, Comp cams (I think) have this new slotted design that increases oil flow to contact surfaces, flat surface lifters, Rhodes lifters....etc...what's a guy to to!

LowFlyLark Time for a mild custom.

I did an Isky cam and lifter set. Isky used to have a great reputation. I ran it for a few hours for break in. I had to pull the intake off to replace the front seal and the cam and lifters looked great.

A few years ago TA Performance got hurt by some lifter suppliers' quality issues and their workaround was to stick with the GM/Delphi lifter body exclusively, if I remember right. Wouldn't hurt to give them a call to get up to speed on what's going on with lifters currently.

Just acquired my 67 Special. Very similar to yours.
It already had an Isky cam, lifters, and adjust push rods in it from about 8 years ago after the 300 engine was rebuilt. .060 over with 11:1
compression. Ported heads and exhaust manifolds. Not an expert or
knowledgable about cams, etc. Does run good and no problems.
Do know it is a deep subject getting into lift, duration, overlap and
all that stuff. Endless possibilites, makes my head hurt!
If you want more info I have the cam spec sheet. So good luck.
But I like your taste in cars!:beer
