I have been finding some neat and interesting things to make my car a day 2 looking car. I am thinking I need a change of look for my car so I can get ambitious again with it. So far,I have a set of old style solid face Cragar front runner wheels,my Edelbrock valve covers and a non cut out older B4B intake. I have a line on some SW gauges for it as well..Any other things I should be looking for? I want to get some matching rear wheels and some other items that would fit like an open Chrome air cleaner etc.. I am not above removing the vinyl top and having the top of the car painted. I am also removing the glass front fenders and putting steels back on.
I have a NOS set of fenders just waiting to be installed hanging up in my garage..I live in a high deer hitting area and sometimes get worried about hitting one.I think that's one reason I don't drive my car..
They were both on my stage 1 when I bought it in 1983 the original owner bought the car to race The engine was rebuilt at 26,000 miles the original owner installed vintage Kenne Bell speed parts.
I have a Stage 1 in my car (70 Skylark) with KB internals and a set of chrome headers. The motor had an old Erson ground cam that the cam gear was wiped out. I want to replace the newer style ignition with the Stinger setup I have. I even have a good coil and box for the Stinger. How hard are those wiper motors to locate? Probably like hens teeth?
My stage 1 had an old KB Erson cam too 70 S1. The original 107 cam, I saw the wiper motor washer delete plates on eBay in a Chevrolet eBay add. I did have the Hays stinger S4 on the car ran good it now had a MSD The stinger trigger is fire to MSD box.
The MSD box lights Her up quicker I was running the KB107 473 Lift an Carter competition series 1000 TQ which is a bear trying to start cold.
