I was wondering what kind of tranny shield everybody is using. Last summer, I tried using a TCI one and it didn't fit good at all. Also, is anyone using a trans blanket on a street driven car? I was thinking of trying the CSR one but its a bit more money and I don't know how its going to fit. Any suggestions or experiences are appreciated.

I wouldn't run a blanket. They hold heat in the trans and get oil soaked, fire hazard! I use JW bells on all my trannies and a TCI sheilds. The bells fit great! Sheild is a little tight, but no complaints. Didn't see you at Musclepalooza, did you go?

Dom, Rob Chilenski uses the CSR one. You have to grind off whatever nubs and ears are sticking out on the case for it to fit.

Jeff-I was already to go to Lebanon and I got a call to go back to work Thursday night and work the entire weekend to finish a job. My union has been on strike for over two weeks and thought it would be in my best interest to go to work, unfortunately.

    Hey Dom,
I installed the CSR shield over the winter, It is the only one that will fit inside the stock tunnel.
