As all of us have participated in cruise nights with our cars, what is your favorite drive in? I have two: Danny's Drive In (Stratford, Conn.) and Bill's Drive In(Monroe,Conn.)
Swony's in Aurora, IL. It gets a little crazy there sometimes. :3gears: As long as your not shooting anyone the Aurora cops don't really care. But you need to watch out for the county cops.
Drive In A place called Jimmy B's in Pendelton N.Y.. Rt. 78 off the N.Y.S. Truway takes you to 400 to 700 cars on a Tuesday evening. Food, music, beer and friendy cruizers. There are also about 200 bikes.
XXX in Issaquah WA aways has a great colletion of rides. I sometimes just drive through the parking lot on the way home to check it out. Arby and Ed's in Oshkosh, WI 'cause the little girls skate out to your car.
I'm a recent convert to Superdawg courtesy of Dana and Beth! :TU: What the hell makes that relish so green anyway??? o No: p And thanks to Dana and Beth I have a SuperDawg commemorative T-shirt! Thanks guys! I'll send a pic of me in it.... :eek2: You guys are great! :TU: :TU: :TU: :TU:
Ken, we love to share. The relish I hear, is buried in porcelin pot in Berwyn for an unspecified amount of time uzzled: and then mashed by the feet of Joffrey Ballet Dancers with the daintiest tootsies known to mankind :Brow: ,then the relish is air dried on runway 9R at ORD for three days :eek2: and when it arrives at "the Dawg" they shoot it with a little Green #4. Its like magic :TU: Wait till some day when your wearing that shirt and out of nowhere someone you dont know comes running up to you yelling............ "SUPERDAWG, I've Been there, I love SUPERDAWG!" Mark my words it will happen. Have a great Thanksgiving & say hi to the Mrs. for us, will ya? D.
I liked Carnie's (sp?) in Brunswick (or thereabouts). Too bad its no longer there (though the show is).
Oh yeah I forgot, you're right Jim,one more place-The A&W Rootbeer Restaurant/Drive In in Salem,Ohio. That is one place that had more Buicks in it!
The Red Rooster in Brewster has the best ice cream on a warm July night after the Marcus Dairy cruise.
