I'm still fairly new to the 70-72 thang..... but I don't think I've ever seen anything like this. Where does this go? Or is it "mis-listed"? 71 GS Ram Air?
I didn't think it was 70-72 Buick. I did think maybe it could be a 68 or 69 part. I've never been under the hood of one of those and have no idea how the air cleaners hook up to the hoods. o No:
Rick, That goes on the end of your sweeper so you can vacuum under the seats!Only will fit a 70-72 bucket seat car though. The bench seats are wider....LOL pat
parts That is from a late, second generation "F" Body. I believe it would be an original air scoop from probably a 79-81 TA. The olds inlets were somewhat different from that.
Looks like a dash defroster vent assembly that blows on the inside of your windshield with the hose attached that goes to the air box. You gearheads are always thinking GO FAST goodies... that's how all the e-bay sellers get stupid money for thier parts! Peace WildBill
From my parts source.... The part you sent me the e mail on is off the 3rd and maybe 4th gen f bodies with tuned port. A lady used to come into Sheppards with a mid 80's Camaro and that was the air intake for it. If you need any more info let me know. Mark
redneck.... Hey, I resemble that comment...I am from West Virginia, and short of Arkansas, or Kentucky....we know more about redneck gear than anyone............
Looks like a big Ice scraper to me....Boy, that windshield could be ice free real quick! Later gearheads!
