What is this Rivvy part??

    7795293 parts group 12.116H , all the book says is moulding & attaching part, rear wheel opening outer, front-lower left hand side, 1968-1969 9000 ( riv ) list price was $10.60 in 1971 book.

    thats the story on it, but i dont know the riv well enough to say excatly what this piece is.

    he probably didnt try to look this one up in a book because 12.116H is a big section in the parts book.

    he calls it chrome, but i bet ya it is more likely a piece of stainless steel. could it be one of those option things not found on all rivs ? i dunno. henry

    I think the option was W-4. They're called "gravel shields". It says in my book that it was unavailable with the GS option, but my 69 has them. The 68 does not. And both are original.
