Can anyone tell me what type of animal this skelleton is from,? It's wierd how spine goes right into the lower jaw. Kinda looks like a snake? sounds dumb I know, but look at the curv of the spine.? Found in the woods near father in laws place... Maybee a cougar or something? If it is a snake, good lord its huge and if its a cougar, awsome, I've never seen one in wild....

    3shields Let's go, MOUNTAINEERS!!!

    Heads or Tails?

Is that a jaw or a pelvic bone? Looks like a femur would fit right up to that "socket". Okay, I am not a doctor or a biologist so I don't know all the terminology.......Some kind of an animal with a tail?

It Looks like you have two bones that aren't in their natural position. Is the spin actually connected somehow or just sitting there loose?

That definitely looks like a pelvic bone - there are no teeth in it and there would be if it were a jaw.

Looks like a cat or a small canine (fox, something along those lines)

  10. probably a dog or cat.
