No you're not halucinating, that is the "ironing board" console which could be had in 64 and I believe 65 Buick Slylarks, and Wildcats, plus maybe others. Looks like a decent price, even if it needs some restoring. :TU: Not really my style, I prefer the full length consoles.
It is a 64 to 65, Type 1. Later in 65 Type 2, which is the one with the tri shield emblem started and it went until 1970, as 70 Type 1.
