There I was hot rodding arond town. Ignoring the signs thinking they would go away. On the way back from a trip to Year One when a head gasket blows. I have already changed the driverside head gasket which seemed to be the one that blew but now what is the best way to remove the passenger side head?. The car is a 69 Skylark with a 455 and air. The air is not hooked up and won't be but the condensor housing is in the way. Is it possible to remove the head with the engine still in the car? This is how it looks so far. Oh I am taking this time to install the Edlebrock intake too.
    Thank you for your input.

If you can remove the valve cover AND access all of the head bolts (assuming you don't have head studs), you ought to be able to remove the head.

Have you figured out why it's blowing head gaskets? Have the heads been overheated or are they warped? Too much compression or timing? Bad fuel? Bad torque wrench?
