Just getting an idea on what people want to see, when buying a 54 year old metal engine part(1970). This is more for sheet metal pieces. May be for cast pieces for cleaning and painting.
Don't want my recently acquired blast cabinet to cost me.

    A. bead blast leave bare
    B. bead blast and paint with primer
    C. bead blast, and paint with some red color you think will match someone's engine
    D. leave it alone, some cleaning, but no bead blast.
    E. clean good, work on dents, if possible.

Personally, I'd rather see a clean original part but others may disagree. I also don't think it's worth the time/effort to prep anything beyond maybe cleaning up a little just to make handling it nicer.

Bead blast and leave bare, clean always sells better.

agree with 72Stage1 . At least clean the grease off so you can see the numbers. If pulleys paint them black after clean up.
