un do the lower rad hose, take out the thermostat, run a water hose into the thermostat housing. Remove the rad. backward flush it.
If you're talking about the crankcase (motor oil), I wouldn't do it due to the risk of dislodging some piece of gunk that could plug up the oil pickup. Devon
Thanks guys! I hope I am ain't taking advantage with the questions but here goes another one. The car doesn't turn off immediately after turning it off. Maybe fuel continues to run through or the starter is shot I dont quite know yet. What do you think?
Ignition timing isn't a factor, it's dead as soon as the key is turned off. The condition is sometimes called "dieseling" and can be caused by excess carbon buildup in the combustion chambers, low octane fuel, excessive idle speed setting, or any combination of the three. Devon
