Looks like a late 70's Buick 350 to me. Maybe the TA Stage1 intake. The water outlet facing the wrong way though?:Do No:

I don't think its a 350. The exhaust manifolds and the orientation of the oil filter look wrong, unless Buick made some changes through the years. I've also never seen an intake manifold like that on a 350. If the block is aluminum then its a 215 if its not I would guess that its a 300.

I can probably tell you what it is if you take some more pictures--like of the back end where it mounts to the flywheel housing, and also a picture of the other side of the engine (drivers side).
I resembles a 300, but the heads aren't right for a 300, so that has me confused. The intake looks like one for a '64 300, but I can't tell for sure until I see the back end of it.

Rover, maybe? Definitely not a 350.

The intake/exhaust configuration is 215/300/340/rover family. From what I can see, that exhaust manifold looks like a 300/340. I agree, a shot of the rear, plus block and head composition will give a lot more clues, or pop off a head and tell us the bore & stroke.

    2.8" x 3.5 = 215/rover, All aluminum
    2.8" x 3.7 = 3.9 Rover, All aluminum
    3.03" x 3.7" = 4.2 Rover, All aluminum
    3.4" x 3.75"= 300 , iron block, al heads ('64), iron heads ('65+)
    3.5" x 3.5 = P76, all aluminum (oz yes, USA no)
    3.85" x 3.75"= 340, all iron

Anything with an aluminum block is 215/rover based, iron block is 300 or 340.
'64 heads and intake were put on a lot of later 300s. I've never heard of an aftermarket aluminum 340 intake being made by anybody.

    The Answer IS

For all you guessing about the motor - It's a Oldsmobile 215

The flat valve covers with ribs and (5) bolts per valve cover gives it away, It's also '61 to early '62 varity - because it has a mounting bracket for the gennie - later ones had Alt. brackets.
Balancer is '61 to early '62 too as later one had alum. outer ring that didn't fall off.

No 215 had a Q-jet from the factory - they came with 4-Jets though.

letters on the vin pad should be T, G, S, I or IH
