What ever happened to that Estate "Sport" Wagon project thread?

Remember that Estate wagon that was converted to a two door? That was one of the coolest threads and I am wondering if that extreme artistry ever made it through to fruition. I remember it was all cut, welded, sanded and primed but not sure whatever came of it after that.

I've often wondered the same thing. I would love to see it finished.

He was on The Station Wagon Forum a lot too. My understanding it was in paint and all the metal work was done...then a hail storm hit and pretty much destroyed the car. People over there haven't heard from him in awhile either.

Oh wow!!! That's right now that you mention it I do vaguely remember that. That really does suck. Man someone needs to do one like that to keep the dream alive! That was a sick project.

This Sportwagon appeared on a public Buick Facebook page near the end of Jan. Link goes to bangshift with a write up.
Add says it's not Buick powered.

WOW!! In primer and straight as an arrow. Then it gets hailed on. :( I cannot even imagine...... That was some serious vision right there. How many people are going to attempt creating a 2 door Estate Wagon? Not many. It was SO close!
