I have a buick 455 that I only run on the 1/4 mile strip. I use Mobile 1 15w-50 synthetic oil in it. I was in the NAPA store the other day and saw that NAPA has its own line of 15w-50 synthetic oil for half of the price of Mobile 1. Should I trust it or just go with the old saying " you only get what you pay for!". I know that Valvoline makes all of NAPA'S motor oil. And I know that Valvoline is a fantastic company, but there is that little bit of doubt in the back of my head that is telling me to stay away from it and stick with the Mobile 1.
Let me know what you guys think and if any of you are using the NAPA synthetic oil's.
    Thanks,

I970GS455 For the love of Buicks...

My past experience with their oil wasnt to my liking. I went from about 30psi at idle (with Valvoline 10w50) hot to 10psi with their oil. Im guessing it just breaks down much more than the other. That just my experience. ........
