http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/e...10468809676&ssPageName=ADME:X:RTQ:MOTORS:1123 What is the scoop with this POS. It seems like it could be a GS but not quite sure. It could be a skylark with some GS parts on it. either way the guy claims he spent $20,000 3 years ago to restore it yet the carpet is bad, the bumpers are both dented or bent, and the paint is marginal, and the hood and grille are wrong. I asked the guy about the hood, If he had the original and he said that he didn't know it had the wrong hood on it. Looks to me like it was probably hit in the front? who knows. What do you guys think of it? Chris
not to mention Skylark Fenders, 69 grille chrome, crappy aftermarket grille, needs lots of bodywork.....but it's a $40,000 car....I'm with ya, that car is a GS by VIN but missing way too much, he can keep it
Has a complete '69 Skylark front clip, even the headlight bezels are '69. Cobbled together POS. Steer clear.
This car has been for sale for a very long time on Carsonline.com. Now i know why, the pictures on that site show little detail. http://www.cars-on-line.com/38448.html Leave it to the board to expose the truth, not sure if I would buy another Buick without consulting people herer
FYI, here is the car he refers to as selling for 39,000. http://www.mwmcars.com/cars.htm?l=c&id=147 I would say there is a bit of a difference:idea2:
