Im looking for a good carb and i found this on ebay..its only about 15 miles from my house so i can pick it up! how would it perform on a 68 430v8 and would it bolt to stock manifold..what spacer would i need? My GUESS is that if you were to purchase the carb AND an intake that would accept the carb AND paid a professional to tune the carb: (A) you would only use maybe a quarter second in the quarter mile (B) you would not lose more than 40 percent in fuel economy (C) your driveability would suffer only in city driving. Best solution: rebuild your Q-Jet. Jon.
