looking for a nice 70 - 72 GS hardtop in the $12 - $14k range. Original cars or older restorations would be perfect, not looking for a custom car or for a clone, No GSX paint schemes.
She would like white interior if possible.
    prefer 455 car
    N-25 bumper would be cool
    NO Brown,Gold,Green,Cream cars.

Not looking for a full restoration project, prefer something with nice body and paint. Willing to look at cars needing drivetrain work/replacement, or a car needing just paint or interior.

    Cash buyers ready to move.

Send email with description, pictures, and a phone number you can be reached at.

    Thanks for your time,

Need to wrap this search up soon.

Tell me what price range the car you have is at, and let ME decide if we can move up in price range. Don't decide for me, and not offer up a good car because of the price range we started at.

    Thank You

Doesn't that make up about 80% of the popular colors "back in the day"?

The green paint they used must of had special anti corrosive properties.

    staged70 RIP

I remember talking to you about this car. It was originally in my back yard and had iron Stage 2 heads on i. I should have bought it myself but the asking price was so high 17K. Wow what you learn when you do your research!

Thanks for the update Don, I totally understand where your at.
I also appreciate you being upfront and a stand-up guy about what's going on.

    No hard feelings.

My wife put in a call to her financial advisor today about pulling some money out of her dwindling so-called retirement account.
We have also made contact with another board member about a car we used to own,and might own again.
The wife and I are both ready for this search to be over.

Some may argue that it's not wise to pull money out of a retirement account to make a purchase like this, but I really don't see retirement in my future anyway(there will be a funeral and retiement party on the same day)
Might as well enjoy some of this money now when we're young and able. Could get hit by a bus tomorrow,so why save money to give to a retirement home to get me out of a wheelchair to change my poopy adult diaper?
We have put much thought and discussion into pulling money out early, the penalties, taxes, etc.
At least WE are deciding where this money goes, and not some clown on wall street that throws a bunch of it away at the closing bell everyday.
    Rant over.

The car can always be sold to recover the money that you took out.

Tom, thats how I justify my Buick purchases. Investments have sucked so plowing it into Buicks- also a loss, but at least I like it.

 Clowns are not throwing it away- they are lining their clown pants pockets. 60% of the trades on wall street are now clown free-they are computers trading to each other.
Thats what I do not like. No responsibility at the end of the line; not even a clown! Rant over
Now back to the Buick talk.

    Tom,

Thanks, I knew you would understand. I really needed to think about it more, before deciding too quickly to sell. I wish I had some of my other cars back that I have sold in the past.:ball: Good luck on your search. I also agree with your "retirement fund" philosophy.:TU:
