What do you do with an extra '64 Buick grille?

    You make a shelf out of it :grin:

    For my small but growing collection of oil cans and other petromobelia. I only buy unopened items with the exception of the small household oil cans and a 5 gallon Sunoco can from the forties.

    The bumper quality is good for a core at best. The rest of the grille parts are driver quality but are my spares in the event my '64 needs parts due to wear and tear, accident, or whatever. Rather than setting the parts on a shelf I thought I could display them as garage art. Believe me, nothing gets wasted in my garage. I only throw away/scrap parts that can't be repaired (within reason).

    Nice Shelf! Thanks for givin me an idea.

    It is always nice to have reserves in the unforeseen circumstance that an accident happens!
