I've been trying to find Inner Tie Rods for a '66 Riviera for a while now. I made an order with NAPA, because their website showed that they have them. They charged my card, and almost a month later the parts still haven't arrived. So, I went back to the website and checked my order status. It said ORDER CANCELLED 05/29/09 - CC WILL BE CREDITED. I emailed NAPA asking what happened. This was their response. When do they plan on refunding my cash? I'm waiting on a reply for that one. But, I am still in need of some Inner Tie Rod ends. I'm sure there's other cars with obsolete parts as well. What does everyone else do to get around this? I mean, it is the steering and suspension. You cannot just slap something together in the backyard and expect it to be as safe as what should be on there.
http://www.p-s-t.com/pc-4694-31-steering-linkage-kit.aspx Oops! Posted this then saw it says Chevelle. I started out with a Buick search. I would contact them or http://www.kanter.com/p56-fek.html If they can't get what you need, they can tell you who can.
Auto Zone says they can get it Rare Parts / Tie Rod End Part Number: 25786 Price: $99.99 Warranty: LLT Notes: Inner Fits either side
Brian- My buddy Craig Studnick has them. Give him a call at 516-485-1935. Tell him "Buick Jason" gave you the number. He deals in front end, steering, brake and ignition parts. Super nice guy. Probably knows the part number off the top of his head. He's an "old school" parts guy. Doesnt even own a computer. I'd be surprised if he didnt have them ready to ship out.
Thanks for the help! O'rielly's is the same story as NAPA. CARS doesn't list them, and when called they said they're not available. I will definately start calling all of the other places you all have listed. :TU:
Jason, I bought some stuff from your friend Craig Studnick at Carlise. He has lots of stuff and appears very knowledgable. Knows what is junk and what is good and what is made in USA. He has a ton of stuff.
