As many of you know, i'm restoring a 74' 455 . I currently run a 350.4 in my 70' skylark. I have gone through the heads from top to bottom.. Stage one heads.(large valves), added stronger springs for the mild cam I'm going with, Had the cylinders bored .030. 74' came with HEI! What kinda differences in power, takeoff, torque, etc. will I notice from 350 to 455....

Somewhere around 100 more ft/lbs of torque. You'll definately feel it.

Not that much, actually...you should save yourself the trouble and let me take that heavy ol' 455 off of your hands... :Brow: :Brow: :Brow:

Seriously, you oughta get more than 100 ft/lbs, the stock 455 had more than 100 over the 350...

    Get ready

Your gonna nead more cash. Tires, gas, and your seat will need to be rebuilt from getting pushed back into it.

A glove compartment full of clean drawers. You'll need a clean pair every time you put the petal to the metal.
