55 tail lights complete assembles ..............anyone have any they want to part with ?? need both sides head light rims and grill bar upper and extentions aswell basical all chrome items
Bob: This info may be too late for your project, but you can get a front disk brake conversion from Scarebird in Washington state. I bought one for my '55 special, and it worked well. You still have to add the calipers and rotors, etc. Instructions are good and the boys at Scarebird are helpfull. Good luck, Larry.
70-72 Skylark/GS trunk filler panel, the panel between the trunk lid and the rear window. Why not the 68-69 version as well! Classic A-body rustout spot. ALL of them need repair there.
The list is endless...How about carburetor spacer (baffle, gasket, whatever the tin plate is called) plates for '66 nailheads with Q-jets; - any Electra trim, any large Buick soft trim, and wood inserts for mid-'60s Rivs and Electras; replacement CV joints for full-size mid-60s Buick driveshafts, not just the kits; and finally, new, not reground, aluminum brake drums for full-size Buicks. And for older Buicks; - no one makes any brake shoes for the 42-49 Buick Supers and Specials. They exist for the Roadmaster of the year, but not for the others. I could go on...
i think a lot of guys would be interested in shorty headers for all the cruciform <X> frame buicks, like the 66 and 67 riviera. ta performance makes some good ones but their prices are ridiculous. i am saying this as an experienced welder and more expoerienced scrapper, i know quite well what steel tubing costs, and it aint 500 dollars for 36 inches of steel pipe. also their shorties are designed, it seems, for a bit higher range than i, and many others, are aiming for. theirs are very nice but the 1 7/8" primaries, according to THEIR dyno results, dont make power until i think it was 3,400rpm, and i thought if someone could make some 1 5/8" shorties, with the collector a bit longer than the TA design, it would appeal to a lot of people, myself included. to me, it would be worth at least 480, at least with the jet-hot, in factm i think i would just assume make them all coated, why even bother with raw headers, who wants em?
70-72 Side markers are sold by www.thepartsplace.com Mark has the hood front moldings at Then and Now the rear filler panel and rear quarters along with core supports and pass inner fenders. Breathers for 70-72 are still plentyful. Mark also mentioned the chrome around the GS grille How about a tough one. The plastic that snaps into the power seat to cover the track for the bucket seat. I think they call it a skirt very very hard to find
'64 Wildcat Formula 5 wheel center caps, particularly the Wildcat emblem itself. True story, when I bought my car last year it had 3 of 4 of the emblems still attached, but one was starting to peel off the center cap. so I gently removed it for safe keeping with the intention of trying to have a copy made for the missing one on the LF wheel. One day while looking under the console to see if there was a wiring harness for the tach I was planning to add I found the missing emblem. Some one must mave put in under the plastic tray in the forward storage compartment.:TU: I now have them all but they need restoration. The cat itself is dull and the black backgorund has turned to gray. I'd like to see '64 'cat interior parts like door panels, kick panels, seat covers, especially for the 2-door custom bucket seat interiors.
+1 I think ScareBirds has a disc conversion. These are a perfect fit. But, they don't have the correct mottled print. +1 +1
