what body type/frame?

    what body and frame is a 67 riviera, ive heard its a x frame, well that would be obvious... since the frame is in an x shape... but i need reliable sources... v8buick :)

    Riv's are known as "E" bodies in GM-speak. Their frame just happens to be in the shape of an "X". X-bodies came later with the Apollo and Skylark of the mid to late '70's which were built on the Chevy Nova body.

    Olds Toronado and Cadillac Eldorado.

    Although they are all E-bodies, not much swaps, since the Toro and Eldo are FWD

    there are no other cars that are interchangeable with the riviera? wow... thats kinda hard to imagine its GM aint it?
