What are these frame mounts? They are on my 73 Buick Apollo, I assume they are Buick? But are they 350 or 455 mounts? My car was last a race car and had no motor or trans when I got it. Thanks, Mitch
Definitely not a BBB, probably a Buick 350 or V6. Doesn't look like a Chevy but there is an outside chance of Pontiac or Olds but I'm not that familiar with those. Just noticed the battery cable on the driver side which leads me to lean a little more to the Olds or Pontiac.
The battery cable is loose (not connected) and was just laying on the rest of the wires. I know the Pontiac mounts are different, and the Chevy mounts are diffferent as I have those on my Nova. Not sure what the Olds mounts were, so these must be Buick for the original 350 that the car came from the factory with, as from what I read the BBB needs to be mounted further forward. Mitch
Those are also very tall,BBB are about a little more then 1 inch tall, those are over 3 inches tall.BrunoD.
Awesome! Thanks so much David! Has to be for a 73-74 Apollo. Thanks, Mitch
Mitch, please update your status ( location at least). You could be the neighbor of a member that has valuable knowledge, skills, or parts. We never know unless we have INFO. With regards to parts needed, be specific, and condition desired. Big difference in someone needing [NOS, one partial year model specific, Used only at one plant, extremely limited original, (like"I need a second half production 1970 GS gauge package Flint build GS speedometer lens with trip odometer" , if there is such an animal)] and needing [general fill-part in usable condition that fits multiple year, make, model (like," I need mid 80's buick midsize sport wheels to be used for cores"]
