As the title states, it was a GREAT weekend! My son gets this "cruise news" off of Facebook where a bunch of Turbo Buicks hang out. We all know each other. Anyway, we met up last night at a Kmart in Lantana, Fl. There was a really big group of GNs, maybe 15 and 2 GNXs!!! There were some other really nice cars. A couple Cameros with real big blocks, a couple of Vettes, a GTO, and yes, 2 Mustangs. (No, the Mustangs didn't have the stupid raspy sounding exhaust, and they're cool dudes.) We all cruised south about 35 miles on US 1 to a pizza place in Lighthouse point. What a cool cruise!!! Having that many hot cars cruising down the road in one place made people take notice! The pizza place was in a ritzy part of town and they were fantastic. I don't know if there were reservations, but they took care of 37 of us! Great job!!! On the way home we took I 95. Some people took advantage of the speedway and did some really fast "rolls!!!" This one guy's GN specializes in 60 to 160 mph rolls! He makes good money!!! I've seen it. When he went by us........ the sound was GREAT! We all made it back home safely. A few of us woke up early and went to Palm Beach Cars and Coffee. This venue is held at The Palm Beach Mall. It is a BIG mall. I sure am glad we got there early. It was such a beautiful day, and sooooo many cars showed up, that they closed the entrances down!!! GSFred was meeting me there and he was stuck on I 95 just trying to get off the exit! My cousin had to park across the street to meet up with us! There must have been 2500 cars? I don't know, but it was the biggest yet!!! Guess what I saw? A bunch of Buicks!!! OK, 6 of them. Isn't that a bunch? I'll talk about these on the other thread... South Florida Buick Get Together. A really great time! Sorry, no pics. I took pics of the Buicks I saw, but they're still on my phone. Lots of HOT chicks, but no pics either. I was hustling Buicks for the Get Together. A man on a mission!!!

That sounds like a great weekend. Did you keep your foot out of it on I-95? Ide bet not. Day 2, that's a big turnout. That's what's great about Florida. Yall always have good weather for events. Worked automotive at one around 83. I remember the Blue light special.
Richard, no I did not keep my foot out of it. I did 3 rolls past 5000! I don't know how fast I was going cause my speedometer is broken.
