Words escape me...actually, I've got a lot of words for that abomination, but this is a family forum.

GUCCI??? On a Buick??? How any self-respecting man (or woman, for that matter)would be seen within a block of that is beyond me.

Everyone has their buttons that get pressed, and obviously this is something that has pushed yours...

This car is NOT built to my taste, on that same note, I dont own it and would not seek out to buy it. But judging from the bids, theres someone out there that has found it to be to their liking......

I would MUCH rather have someone do this to a car than have it sit in a field with intentions of someone "restoring it down the road sometime" . Thats just my take....Im sure others opinions differ from mine.......

Wasn't that a reject from Pimp My Ride? :TU:

How did they get a '71 Rear Bumper with a '72 Nameplate?:puzzled: That's actually kind of cool! :TU:

With tires/wheels that tall, it's nice to work under, without having to use Jack Stands! :Smarty::moonu:

    "Skylark GS"

that's a euphemism for "GS clone that I didn't take the Skylark badges off of"

Actually, the car looks real straight and could easily be returned to a more *ahem* tasteful ride height- but I think the fenders have been cut. Stupid to waste the fenders, it will cost more to replace them than it did to alter them

The air conditioning works great, proven by the fact that the hood is hard to open? a 12K car that has a hood that's hard to open? A 2 cylinder Buick 350? A one year old Buick 350? More like one year on the rebuild, or perhaps the ring job

But all in all the car does look clean and staright. I'd give the owner 8K, mostly because of the things (like the hood that doesn't open correctly!) that I'd have to reverse engineer to fix, because he messed them up

Not my cup of tea, but at least it looks like a nice professional job. I'm sure it took time effort and skill, not to mention money. I think the owner is going to be in for a shock that he can't recoup what he put into the car- something we've known is generally true for a long time

I had my 71 Skylark with a 455, I think a real nice car up for sale for 10 grand and had no interest. I should have done something like this, at least people are interested in it.

Don't get too depressed! I thought your car rocked. :TU:

I have been watching the Guccimobile and the Greenloogie on e bay for the last few weeks. Both have been put back up for bid I believe for deadbeat buyers. Look at the folks who have bid (overbid) and see how new their account is on E-bay. I hate deadbeat buyers but I think some folks are having fun with the two pimpsters and I should be upset about it, but I am not. To each their own that is true but these boarder on sacrilege. :spank:
