The firewall is an interesting place to look. Its certainly an option I also have an ungrommeted through hole near the brake pedal. There is much snow and cold here right now so spring will be the test. I guess a tail pipe change will be in order straight out to get the exhuast into the airstream. I do also believe that the low pressure zone with the squared back of the car is a major player in the gas return. There are a lot of places gas can get in considering we can't get new seals for the tailgates and such. Bret
I used to get a hint of exhaust when I had the tailpipes facing down in the stock location. I put straight out tips that are a little past the pinch weld edge of the body, and I have not had a problem since. I don't know if facing down alows it to swirl under the car maybe? Tony
mine has stock single exhaust - if I ride with the back window down at all, I get fumes in. Thats the only time I smell it .... o No:
