What 350 Is This??

Can someone d-code this 350 by this number?

number found on back of block....o No:

 

low number!
Early 68 block. First year!!

 

Any idea on HP numbers??

 

I think it was something like 275 HP stock, but I know im incorrect by a few #'s. Someone else should chime in and tell you correct HP #'s.

HP depended on what car it was put in. 68 GS350 "rated" at 280, being a 4bb w/dual exhaust. A 2bb Skylark w/sgl exhaust rated lower. I'm not sure of those #'s.

 

I think the 2bb with the lower compression was like 230...
