All: I just painted my valve covers with Duplicolor red. Unfortunately, in my haste some lint made its way into the paint job. I think I can solve the problem by wet sanding before I clear coat. My question is, what grit(s) to use? Its only a daily driver but I want to do the best job possible. Your advice is appreciated. :3gears:
Unfortunately, I've done this. And spray can paint jobs just don't seem to lend themselves to wetsanding all too well. Be careful on the edges as you'll cut through them in a couple of passes. You'll most likely be applying some more coats of red when it is all said and done. Good luck.
