    Hi :)
Is there anybody who knows were I can buy a new correct vinyl top for my 76 Buick Electra Limited.
Will it come in 1 big part or will there be 3 parts that have to be sewed together.

I will appreciate any answer about this. :TU:

I don't know how easy it's going to be to actually find a vinyl roof. In the states there are top and trim shops that will make you a new one that looks original, but they do it from scratch...I don't know how much luck you'll have trying to find that in Norway. You may want to find someone in the states who has a 76 Electra, and has either had that done or is somehow otherwise willing to get another top made and send it to you.

    Hope that kinda helps!

When I had my Centurion's top replaced, the shop just measured the distance between seems, then placed the order from their supplier. There wasn't a lot of choice between colors, 3 or 4 I think. And two choices for grain. So its not likely you'll get an exact match unless you spend big bucks.

    I think it's padded.
Here are some pictures of it.

if it is padded, it will feel like there is carpet padding behind it when you press on the top.

I am almost sure that its padded, but since the car is still in FL, I cant check it out.

i pull all my viynl tops off they rust underneath and especially around the c pillars. if you want to paint the roof to look like a top. the worst ones are the unpadded tops

That looks like a padded top... I agree with garyd on this one, of course it is up to you but if you are going to be leaving the car outside, I think it would be best to just pull the vinyl off, and paint the roof. Weather is very hard on the vinyl tops no matter how many chemical protectants you buy.

    Hi :)
    Yea
Its maybe the answer for it, to take of the top and just paint it.
But I do like the vinyl top on this cars, I think they looks more exclusive with a vinyl top.
