I just had my blown mufflers replaced with dynomax welded one's, this thing is now as quiet as the dell computer under the desk I'm sitting at. Hmmm....... good they're only like 18$ a piece after rebate cause they'll go out if I ever get some headers.

i have a 3" dynomax race bullet on the camaro, it's freaking awsome...relatively mellow at idle, raped ape at WOT, and no drone while on the freeway......not exactly a muffler though, just a bullet....

2 x 028917217 , 2.25 welded oval @ 67.99$ a fix from jegs. They look pretty sharp, but they make the engine whisper, and that's not what exactly I had in mind. I know my girlfried will like it, she was sometimes complaining about the noise level in the car, I just liked it like that.

I had a look in the jegs catalog and this is what it sys about the mufflers:

"100% welded aluminized construction. straight through delivers an aggresive, powerful, and deep performance sound. For street or race use."

So I called them and asked about the mufflers not delivering what it says in the catalog, the guy on the other end is like, where are you listening, under the hood, outside? -I'm in the car....! He says, they'll make some noise once you rev them a bit, I'm like 4.000 ? No around 2.500. Well, they're dead quiet, all I can hear is the fan on the engine. He said you'll hear the noise behind the car. -? I ask him about drilling a hole in em, he said it would severly affect their performance negatively, losing back pressure.

    :Do No:
