Where does the axle appear to be damaged? Looks like the bearing only. The rest is grease...??? Please point this out... Jim
this pic must really freak you out because it scared the heck out of me. Then I realized it was just one of this guys stray hairs.
Fortunately your bearings are pressed on with a removable inner race. I was not so lucky 1200 miles from home last year p
just an update. I was able to get new bearings pressed on and the smoothness is nice. also seems to roll along a bit quieter. Seems my ac system didn't appreciate its infusion of r12..grr
