    I was having D-Ts. Its good to be back. This is one of two sites I visit daily - felt like I lost my community.

    The first nite of the hack was interesting. Kept trying links in vain... I think I'm addicted.

    I've been looking at all sorts of other weird things to fill the void. Corvette ads, real estate, ebay, etc. Very expensive alternatives. Thank god it's back.

    I also developed a very painful pimple on the bottom of my big toe while the site was down. Never happened before and I'm blaming that on the V8 hackers too.

    Hey Bruce, toe pimples aren't funny when you're walking someplace.

    Now that V8 board is back up again a pimple on the buttocks would be more painful but the toe pimple is becoming less important.

    I, too, have tried to visit this board everyday in addition to my horsey info. I learn something every time I come here.

    While it was down, I was chatting with an acquaintance of mine who is a Mustang Freak (he has a 95 Cobra, modified, thinks it's da bomb!). Can't remember specifics, but I mentioned that I could've got the answer to a techie question, but our board was down. So he gave me the link to 'his' daily board. Just for kicks, I checked it out:

    I can't speak to the quality of their technical dicussions, but the majority of the discussions that I did read were focused on women (a entire thread/poll of blondes, brunettes, or redheads) and lots of other very well, immature, stuff.

    I found myself having a high school flashback - 'our clique is cool, everyone else sucks, my car is my ego' - :moonu:

    Anyway, it made me want to get back here for actual *discussion* with decent folk.

    Now, off to make a donation to the board....
