how can I set up the car to shift front end weight to the back. I made a bet and I have to get front wheels up on take off. This is a four door lark with 350/350 2.56 gear. Im thinking rear control arm fabrications might help.

Wow.... I hope that's one BUILT 350 under your hood.
Even a very VERY well built 350 is going to struggle for a wheelstand in a 4 door with 2.56 gears.

    If not....
Remove your doors, fenders, and hood.
    Put in 5.13 gears
Drop the auto trans and replace it with a 5 speed.
    Then maybe.....

Lower the back, raise the front. Put skinnies up front, slicks in back, trans brake or manual. put stiff short springs in back. Buy the manual and store the spare auto in your trunk along with a weight set for safe keeping. Set the motor way into the firewall. Get the 350 built to hell. Sit in the back seat and drive. Take the hood, fenders, and doors and strap them to your trunk lid. Still a four door, just altered a little:beer

90/10 shocks up front. Disconnect the sway bar end links. Loosen and lock nut the suspension pivots. Of course all these modifications will affect the handling on the street. To do a wheel stand, you need more power, more traction, a killer converter, and a trans brake helps also. Do you want to go this far to win a bet? Can you go this far?

Do you need to do it on a launch?
If not, you could take off your front shocks completely and "bounce" it by timing your punching of the throttle just right. I bet you could get both tires off the ground within 3-4 bounces.

You will probably need to replace your oil pan and/or exhaust by the time your done though!!

still curios if you can rerout the control arms to transfer some weigh to back?

    No.

Relocating the control arms changes the "instant center" of the rear suspension (that is, the imaginary point at which the suspension rotates) and how it relates to the center of gravity of the vehicle but does not shift weight from front to back.

What are the exact rules of the bet. I just thought of the easiest way. Get some trailer wheels, mower wheels, something and mount them off the front bumper with just the slightest pressure on them so that they actually touch the ground. Then when you floor it the body will shift just enough to pull both new front wheels off the ground while both sets of your back wheels stay firmly planted as usual.

interesting idea, so jack up car wedge large wheel under front bumper then gas it. will the large wheels possibly mess something up? Ill try drawing that up.... Might be good for laughs anyways!
