Weight of a 1972 cast iron intake?

    TA got back to me, yes 25 lbs for the SPX intake

    I wish someone would make an aluminum exact (or close) replica of stock Buick 455 intake like Olds W-30 had......I bet 18lbs

    The Edelbrock B4B and Performer are about 18 lbs.

    Just imagine if I 3D printed a carbon fiber/Polycarbonate intake like the LS platforms. :D

    And valve covers and air cleaner assembly....

    Confoozled: we've got 67 lbs on one end, and 49 on a scale.
    And here I had (from somewhere); 72 lbs for a bare intake.

    Not sure what to tell you. The 455 also put out 510lbs but no evidence has been provided that I am aware.

    Edit, my scale is off maybe +/- 1lbs as compared to two others.
