I asked this question on the Riv board, and no one knew the answer. I thought I might as well try here. Where would someone go about getting the piece of roof rail weatherstripping that is above the quarter window? No one seems to sell this piece--apparently made from another thicker material? Thanks!
I don't believe anyone makes a repro part, so your best bet is finding 'good used' from any 2nd generation Riviera ('66 to '70). The pieces are held into the rear 1/4 glass cavity with sheet metal screws, through the metal insert inside the rubber weather strip, and they usually do not require replacement. The front wx strip is bonded to the end of the 1/4 glass insert. Check here for someone parting out a second generation Riviera ? :TU:
