    Is is the B pressure needs to be lower along with temp and humidity, to be ideal for racing?? Like these numbers here;
    74F
    Partly Cloudy Feels Like
    74F

    UV Index: 7 High
    Dew Point: 55F
    Humidity: 52%
    Visibility: 10.0 meters
    Pressure: 30.19 inches and falling

These look like something I should like to run a 9 with?? Anybody a closet weather man??

    barometric pressure

    Mike:

Is that absolute barometric pressure or adjusted. i.e. did you get it from the track barometer, or the weather forecast?

The humidity might be a touch high for optimum.

    Good Luck!!

    Forecast schmorecast

    Mike:

Get the absolute pressure. Close to 29.92 or above is best.

Or find somebody there with a weather station. The faster racers have them, ask them. If you can't find someone with one, call the closest airfield and get the density altitude. That will tell you what you need.

Get out your handy dandy old time "rain guage". If the pointer is over "good", then it's good. Good luck. :TU:

    Mike,

Density altitude can be figured on a wheel available from any pilot buddy. I have one that I use once in ahile for figuring. It takes a little time but it can be figured. I will try and remember all the stuff for Noble and show you there if I don't see you sooner. Good luck tonight too man.........RIP EM'............
