A big shot from GM just dropped it off to us. It is at our dealership for display until our official load of 5 V Series CTS' arrive April 1. This one has a Milford Proving Grounds sticker in the windshield! It has about 6000 miles on it. There is a "do not drive" order on it here at work, but I did start it up and rev 'er a bit. SWEEEEETT!!! The 6 speed shifter felt crisp. It also has full navigation and a different than stock CTS instrument cluster(a 300kmh Speedo!) . The rotors are huge and the calipers have the V script on them) I'll see if someone has a digital camera here and I'll post some pics. I think it is going to be a winner! Todd Todd
The CTS V Series should prove to be one of the most exciting performance sedans on the market!!!:TU: :bglasses: I think Cadillac will finally give the European & Japanese car makers all they can handle!!:TU: :beer Now.....let's just hope that the 'trickle down theory' works its way to the other GM divisions - especially Buick!!! Buick, Chevy & Pontiac could really use a platform like that!!!:Smarty: :TU: :3gears:
I am going to try and convince my wife that it will be a good replacement for her 01 TL that is coming off lease in a couple of months.:Brow: She can drive a stick too. I don't want to tell her it is a almost a 4 door Vette though.:spank: Larry
I think about $49K in the U.S. I know it will be $70K here in Canada. I just found out two of our salespeople snuck it out for a drive and they still have a grin on their face. They could only describe it as INSANE! Todd
When the dealer gets them in, I will be test driving it. I am currently looking at buying its litte brother, the CTS. Those cars really scoot! I love em!
Forgot to mention there is a digital "G meter" under the tach. That's got to be an industry first. Todd
