We all need to take our cars to this chap. His turn time is a tall tale!

    Yup, he's nuts.

One question, though. He says: "...average turn around on a complete rottisserie resto is 6 to 8 weeks..."
Why would it take him 6-8 weeks to do one of these? Do they get that dirty?

No, that's about right - 20 minutes per pound for well done. A little less if you want it medium rare.

Maybe that's the time it takes for one revolution (turn time) on the rotisserie??? :Do No:

  6. If it was one man working on one car 8 hours a day for six weeks, I could see a turn around time of 6-8 weeks, but only if he had EVERY SINGLE PART he needed for the job. When you have to wait 4 weeks for a special 9/16 bolt or some obsure rubber part, I can see why it drags into 12-24 months.

You know what? If he is a real go getter and his shop is set up well. He might just be able to do it give or take a couple weeks. I'm no expert, but you could easily verify the company and check with better business bureau prior to sending car.

I've seen other auctions much more bogus than this one, even though his time frames might seem unrealistic.
